Solomania 2009 winner found!
Click here to read more about Solomania 2009 Last man standing at CRAFTON
First I would like to congratulate
Anton Lindsjö as the winner of Solomania 2009!
I find Anton to be the best rock guitar player I've ever heard - he has a super fast and clean, super
confident and varied playing style that should impress even the greatest of all guitar players!
I have had Anton's solo in my head since the first time I heard it! Incredible!!!
Well done and thank you Anton for sharing your abilities - it is a real pleasure listening to!
Of course I would also congratulate the rest of the top 5:
Jannick Damkvist,
Fredric Forsman and
Christopher Vest!
Also I'm impressed with how many actually participated in the contest - great to hear a lot of talent!
About me:
The goodies: Although Anton wins supremely, I humbly also made it to the top 5 in the Solomania 2009 competition!(hands down)
More goodies: An old band from the late 80's I used to sing in have been contacted by a Greek record
company about releasing an album with the demo material from way back then (It's nice to talk to the guys
again - it's been too long)... but seriously isn't the Internet a crazy, but cool, place?!
I would NEVER have thought the music we made 20 years ago would be released in 2009... go figure...

...The bad: I've had nothing but computer problems, which has set back my recordings... man that sucks,
but now I'm almost back on track... just need the last hardware pieces, but I'm too cheap to buy retail stuff... what's wrong with second hand stuff?!
On a final note: I have to say hi to my guests - YES I'm sincerely doing very well thank you
and thank you
for asking! and NO I will NOT become part of Facebook - even though I'm told there's a group on
Facebook about getting me on Facebook... now that's just too pseudo realistic isn't it?!

Guestbook back online!
Strato - the german webhosting company that leased out the servers to our web host decided to give all the customers a chance to download all their data.
I think that is very big hearted of them considering our web host went broke and they do not get a penny out of it!
Our new host went to a great length to help all the customers of the ex-web host without demanding that they need to be their customers in exchange, so that is very big hearted of them as well!
The previous owner also wrote a very nice "sorry and goodbye" letter to all the customers and to thank the parties that helped making it possible for the customers to get all their data back!
And the point of the story is...?
There
is still fairness, caring and respect in this world!
These are good times to be living in!
Thanks for your attention! Now
listen to my music and tell me how to make it better!

Merry Christmas! and Things to come!
Now this year has been somewhat of a roller coaster.
My girlfriend and I bought a house - yes that's right - a real house with room for a proper home studio!
But there is much to do on a house before it is suitable, so that took up a lot of time.
And just as we entered the Christmas hollidays our web host went broke, thus loosing everything that I didn't have as a backup... not much - just some entries in the guestbook - sorry about that!
Well - today it is Christmas Eve and I will not be making music today - I promise that :) But I have several hollidays and many of these will be spent finishing up what I have been able to record so far - so a couple of new songs will make their way to this web site shortly.
Thank you to you all for your patience and encouragement!

I'm almost alone! And I don't like it one bit!
Giving news like this is a one-way-communication-channel - like a broadcast. The thing is that I would love to know what all of you think of what I'm doing.
So I made a guestbook that both all of you as well as I write in - sort of like an open blog.
I hope you will use it and I'm looking forward to be intrigued!

10 songs now! And I really like this one. This one is called
Love will make you bigger than life
It is inspired by artists like Jamie Cullum, Steve Vai and the latest album I got for my birthday by John Mayer really kicked it on!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Finally a got around to make a new song! It is called
Always in a haste
This one falls into the category of hard rock. I got inspired listening to DIO, Mr. Big and Qüeens Rÿche and I do
believe it is reflected very much in the song.

I am so happy for my Yamaha DTXpress digital drums.
I finally got around to do some practicing and actually recorded the drums for Ex-Lab Monkey Dreams, a song for a competition
at Real World Remixed, that I've made accompanying Peter Gabriel singing (a de-construction of Shock The Monkey)...
My piece on Real World Remixed competition.
Soon I'll re-record the drums on my own songs!
2006-07-26:
Bought myself Yamaha DTXpress digital drums - wow it's been like 12 years since I last played drums so I'm very rusty...
Tight you say? No way! Not yet anyway...
2006-05-12:
I'm in the process of creating new songs as well as re-singing phrases for more variety in the vocals...
